Martins hoping for cup final celebration

Obafemi Martins has promised to replicate the somersaults that became his goal celebration trademark at Newcastle - if and when he starts scoring for Birmingham. Martins, signed on loan from Rubin Kazan for the remainder of the campaign, admits it was too cold in Russia to celebrate in such an extravagant manner. But the Nigeria international will bring the somersaults back during his spell with Blues. Martins impressed on his debut against Stoke at the weekend in partnership with Nikola Zigic although he had few goalscoring chances. He said: "I'm still going to do the somersaults. In fact, I think I will do them more. If I score goals, I'll do it. Nani did a somersault on Saturday when he scored for Manchester United but mine is different to that. "I had to be careful about doing that in Russia. The weather was too cold! If I score in the Carling Cup final, I think I'll try and do 10 somersaults, maybe more than that!"
