Maik on the mend
Maik Taylor is expected to have recovered from his shoulder injury in time for the Carling Cup final against Arsenal. The Northern Ireland international goalkkeper will be required as the club's other senior goalkeeper for the Wembley encounter against The Gunners on 27th February as Colin Doyle is cup-tied after playing in the competition whilsr on loan at Coventry City earlier in the season. Blues boss Alex McLeish said: "It is looking good for Maik with his shoulder. "He did a training session today (Thursday) and he's on course to give Ben the cover."
