12 January 2010 20:39
It's FA Cup replay time tonight as Sportsmail brings you all the action from Birmingham v Nottingham Forest, Coventry v Portsmouth, Derby v Millwall, QPR v Sheffield United, and a third round clash that fell foul of the weather - Bristol City v Cardiff. Tom Bellwood will keep you up-to-date with all the developments from 7.30pm. [LNB] FA CUP THIRD ROUND REPLAYS BIRMINGHAM 0 NOTTS FOREST 0 (HT)COVENTRY 1 PORTSMOUTH 0 (HT)DERBY 0 MILLWALL 0 (HT)QPR 0 SHEFFIELD UNITED 1 (HT)FA CUP THIRD ROUNDBRISTOL CITY 0 CARDIFF 0 (HT) 8.38: HALF TIME - all the matches tonight have reached half time. Not many goals and little action but we will have some results for you this evening.[LNB]8.32: Handbags at the Ricoh Arena - Boateng takes exception to Bell's challenge and a bit of pushing and shoving ends with Bell receiving a caution.[LNB]8.28: Great save Joe Hart! Dele Adebola did well to head down a freekick inside the box to Dave McGoldrick who took an age to get his shot away but Hart got down well to smother and keep Birmingham level. [LNB]8.23: Some wasteful finishing at St Andrews means the game remains goalless - Benitez the main culprit - but Forest are having the greater possession so far, cheered on by 3,000 travelling fans. [LNB]8.16: Chances at either end in the clash at St Andrews. Sebastian Larsson wastes a couple of good chances, his first shot went wide, the other bobbled into the keepers hand and at the other end Garath McCleary has a clear sight of goal but he makes a complete hash of his attempted volley.[LNB]8.11: GOAL! LEON BEST hammers Coventry in front with an unstoppable drive from 18 yards past Asmir  Begovic. Cracker.[LNB]8.08: GOAL! LEE WILLIAMSON fires United in  front at Loftus Road. Montgomery's cross dropped to the far post and Williamson found the net with his second touch. Against the run of play, it must be said.[LNB]8.05: So, no goals in the FA Cup but Sol Campbell has been substituted on his return for Arsenal who are still leading West Ham 2-0 in the reserve clash at Upton Park. [LNB] Best behaviour: Hayden Mullins commits a foul at the Ricoh Arena [LNB]8pm: Not much to report from the games at Derby, Bristol but QPR have gone close after some poor defending from Taylor who tried to clear but the ball came off the side of his boot and rolled across the six yard box but there wasn't a Rangers player there to tap home. [LNB]7.53: Over at the Ricoh Arena, Pompey have had the best chance - Boateng woirked to the byline and his cut-back was heading towards Smith but it was just cleared by  Wood.  There's snow in Coventry, too - but hardly any fans have turned up. [LNB]7.50: Chance for Bristol! Louis Carey has seen his header crash off the post from eight yards out. And it's snowing buckets - is 'buckets' the right word? [LNB]7.46: In the big, non-FA Cup news today, Sol Campbell is playing for the Arsenal reserves against West Ham tonight and the Gunners currently lead 2-0. [LNB]7.45: And our games are all underway. [LNB] Cup clash: James McFadden vies for the ball with Garath McCleary[LNB]7.38: And here's the news from the Ricoh Arena -  intensifying rumours of a move Younes Kaboul and Steve Finnan were left out of Portsmouth's squad, away from Fratton Park.[LNB]The duo are part of the three changes made by Avram Grant from the initial 1-1 draw - the last time Pompey played - with Richard Hughes the other change.[LNB]Aaron Mokoena, Hayden Mullins and Anthony Vanden-Borre are the men to come in, while Grant has only been able to name six of the permitted seven substitutes.[LNB]Coventry boss Chris Coleman, meanwhile, has made two changes from the side that beat Barnsley 3-1 on Saturday. In-form striker Freddy Eastwood makes way for Clinton Morrison while centre-back Richard Wood took the place of the ineligible Leon Barnett.[LNB]Coventry: Westwood, Wright, Wood, McPake, Cranie, Bell, Gunnarsson, Clingan, McIndoe, Best, Morrison. Subs: Konstantopoulos, Hall, Eastwood, Hussey, Cain, Grandison, Jeffers.[LNB]Portsmouth: Begovic, Vanden Borre, Mokoena, Wilson, Hreidarsson, Diop, Mullins, Boateng, Brown, Piquionne, Smith. Subs: Ashdown, Williamson, Utaka, Webber, Basinas, Sowah.[LNB]Referee: Mike Jones.[LNB]7.35: Right - I have the team news from St Andrews - Alex McLeish has kept faith with the team which earned a creditable 1-1 home draw with Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday to extend their unbeaten run to 13 games.[LNB]In contrast, Forest manager Billy Davies made seven changes to the side which started Friday's 3-1 win at West Brom in the Coca-Cola Championship.[LNB]Only skipper Lee Camp, Wes Morgan, Chris Cohen and Guy Moussi remained in the starting line-up.[LNB]Forest's on-loan full-back Nicky Shorey is ineligible to play.[LNB]Birmingham: Hart, Carr, Roger Johnson, Dann, Ridgewell, Larsson, Ferguson, Bowyer, McFadden, Jerome, Benitez. Subs: Maik Taylor, Martin Taylor, Phillips, Fahey, McSheffrey, Queudrue, Damien Johnson.Notts Forest: Camp, Perch, Morgan, Chambers, Cohen, McCleary, McGugan, Moussi, Tyson, Adebola, McGoldrick. Subs: Smith, Anderson, Garner, Gunter, Majewski, Lynch, Moloney.[LNB]Referee: Kevin Friend.[LNB] Still got Sol: Campbell makes his Gunners return at Upton Park [LNB]7.30pm: Ha! Take that weather - despite your best efforts we some more football this evening. Excellent news. [LNB]Welcome to Sportsmail's coverage of tonight's third round FA Cup clash and the four replays that have managed to remain on - as several others fell victim of the frosty vice-like grip the  weather currently holds on the country. [LNB]Clash of the evening involves the one of the two Premier League clubs involved - Birmingham who are flying high of late face a not-too-shabby Nottingham Forest side who are making headlines of their own in the Championship this season. [LNB]No surprises where the many of the TV cameras are heading - to the Ricoh Arena as many expect to watch Pompey come a cropper against Coventry. [LNB]Derby and Millwall saw out a 1-1 last time round and if Robbie Savages' recent rant at a local reporter is anything to go by - the Rams are well up for the game tonight. [LNB]We'll also bring you the details of the clash between QPR and Sheffield United and Bristol City against Cardiff who had their initial third round clash cancelled due to a frozen pitch.[LNB]PLUS - added bonus time - I'll keep an eye on the events tonight at Upton Park as Sol Campbell makes a shock return for Arsenal in their reserve league clash with West Ham.
