Levein, whose first game in charge comes against the Czech Republic on March 3, has confirmed Boyd and McGregor are in his plans following talks with the Rangers pair.[LNB]And he hopes to sit down and discuss the possible return of Birmingham midfielder Ferguson in the coming weeks.[LNB]"I very much want him to be part of the international set-up, I think he's one of our best players," Levein told BBC Radio Scotland.[LNB]Boyd withdrew his services to former manager George Burley after being consistently overlooked, and Levein's predecessor sidelined McGregor and Ferguson after the "boozegate" saga.[LNB]"I have had contact with all three in various different guises," Levein said. "Once there is any definite information with regard to Barry, then I will let you know.[LNB]"The other two have already stated that they do want to come back and play for the national team.[LNB]"As far as I'm concerned, they will be considered for the Czech Republic game."[LNB]Levein has held initial talks with Ferguson and hopes to secure his comeback with a face-to-face meeting in the near future.[LNB]"I saw him play a couple of weeks ago and he did very well," the former Hearts boss said. "Funnily enough, I bumped into him more than anything else and had a brief discussion with him but that's not the same as having a meeting with somebody.[LNB]"I hope to get round the table and find out exactly where we are.[LNB]"I hope to get down to Birmingham very soon and sit down with, not just Barry, but James McFadden as well.[LNB]"I've been travelling around the country meeting a lot of players. The plan is to try to get round everybody before I name the squad for the game on March 3."[LNB][LNB]
