Kuranyi 'committed' to Schalke
The 27-year-old, whose contract is up in the summer, has been strongly linked with Premier League sides Sunderland and Birmingham this month.[LNB]But, speaking from Schalke's winter training camp in Chiclana de la Frontera, Spain, he revealed he is not concerned with the speculation over his future.[LNB]"I try not to get involved in it too much," Kuranyi said in a video interview on Schalke's website.[LNB]"I want to have success with Schalke. We are in a very good situation at the moment.[LNB]"I have already had success here for three-and-a-half years and have also experienced difficult situations, but I feel good here and I am of course committed heart and soul to Schalke."[LNB]Kuranyi, who is out of favour with Germany coach Joachim Low, has scored eight times in the Bundesliga this term.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
