Jerome agrees new five-year deal

Birmingham City striker Cameron Jerome has signed a new five-year contract, putting an end to a summer of speculation about his future.Jerome, 22, had reportedly been attracting interest from a number of sides, including Middlesbrough. The former Cardiff striker scored nine times in Blues' promotion-winning season, despite occasionally being asked to play as a right-winger. In his one Premier League season Jerome found the target seven times. In three seasons at St Andrew's the England under-21 international has scored 26 times in 123 games.
