HULL v Birmingham: Phil Brown set to give Hesselink his debut at KC stadium

Hull could hand a first start to Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink against Birmingham in Barclays Premier League tomorrow.[LNB]The Dutchman, who signed on a free transfer earlier this month, featured off the bench in last week's defeat at Sunderland.[LNB] Ready to return: Dean Marney is back after injury on the opening day[LNB] Midfielder Dean Marney is back in contention for the first time since suffering a knee injury on the opening day of the season but defender Anthony Gardner (knee) is still sidelined.[LNB]Steven Mouyokolo (hamstring) has also been ruled out but the club are encouraged by the progress of Jimmy Bullard in his recovery from knee surgery.
