Birmingham boss Chris Hughton has been appointed to the League Managers' Association management committee.
Hughton, formerly manager at Newcastle and a coach at Tottenham, takes one of the positions recently vacated by Frank Clark and Lawrie Sanchez.
Hughton said: "I am personally delighted and honoured to join the management committee of the LMA."
He added: "I consider the LMA to be a very progressive organisation and one of the game's most important stakeholders. I am really looking forward to making a positive contribution."
