Hornets Hoping To Keep Mutch
Watford manager Malky Mackay is keen to extend the loan deal of Blues midfielder Jordan Mutch. The 18-year-old Blues midfielder is three weeks into a one month loan deal at Vicarage Road but Mackay has admitted that he has begun talks about extending the loan deal. "We are currently in talks with Birmingham City to extend his stay with us till Christmas," Mackay told skysports.com. "He has integrated well into the group and wants to push himself on by playing regular Championship football rather than playing in the reserves at Birmingham. "It is a great learning curve for these guys coming down from the Premier League because the Championship is a tough division and it isn't something that everyone can cope with."
