Gunners 'show interest' in Seb
Out-of-contract Sweden international Sebastian Larsson believes he could soon be making a return to Arsenal as "they have shown some interest".[LNB] The 26-year-old, who left relegated Birmingham City on a free transfer at the end of the season, claims the Gunners are interested in securing his services. [LNB]Larsson made a handful of appearances for Arsenal in the League Cup, during his previous six-year spell at the club which ended in 2007.[LNB]"They have shown some interest and I should know more in the next few days," Larsson said in Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet.[LNB]"I know there is some kind of interest but I cannot currently say whether something can be done or not." [LNB]"At the moment I do not know how it is going. I know who said that they have shown an interest but the next few days will tell." [LNB]However, it is believed Sunderland remain favourites to land the player, with his chances of regular first-team action virtually guaranteed.
