Gunners back on track

Arsenal secured a 2-1 win over Birmingham - but had Jack Wilshere sent off in stoppage time for a bad tackle. The Blues took a shock lead through Nikola Zigic after 33 minutes but Samir Nasri levelled with a penalty just before half-time and then Marouane Chamakh netted the winner. The victory was soured when Wilshere was shown a straight red that will see him serve a three-match ban following reckless challenge on Zigic. The visitors went ahead after 33 minutes. Keith Fahey's cross was met by Zigic, who headed into the bottom corner. Arsenal equalised when Scott Dann clipped Chamakh's trailing leg and referee Martin Atkinson pointed to the spot and Nasri converted. Morocco striker Chamakh pounced to put Arsenal ahead just two minutes after the restart and Wilshere then earned his red card late on after he went in robustly on Zigic.
