The Blues midfielder has still not recovered from a groin injury and so will sit out the match against Posh at St Andrews on Saturday afternoon.
"Gomis will miss Saturday's match and probably Tuesday's game against Burnley," manager Chris Hughton has said.
"Hopefully, we will have him available for the Blackpool game next weekend."
