Garry Scotland striker O'Connor arrested over alleged cocaine possession

[LNB]The 28-year-old, who started his career at Hibernian and has also played for Birmingham and Lokomotiv Moscow, was allegedly caught with the Class A drug in Edinburgh during the early hours of Saturday morning. [LNB]O'Connor, from Port Seton, East Lothian, was detained by police but released without charge pending further examination. [LNB]O'Connor is currently without a club after leaving Barnsley last month. [LNB]On Sunday, officers allegedly caught two Hearts players with an illegal substance.[LNB] Ian Black, 26, and Robert Ogleby, 19, were detained on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug and later released. [LNB]A spokeswoman for Lothian and Borders Police said: 'We had two people detained, both were cautioned and charged.'[LNB]O'Connormade his international debut in 2002. In 2006 he featured in the Hampden win over France but failed to rejoin the squad to face Ukraine after the players were given a night off.[LNB]Heapologised through his agent and has been in and out of Scotland squadssince, his last involvement in 2009.
