Birmingham have released Ecuador international defender Giovanny Espinoza.
The 32-year-old was signed for Blues from Barcelona Sporting Club in his homeland last summer - joining compatriot Christian Benitez at the club - but made just two appearances for Alex McLeish's side, both coming in the Carling Cup.
City announced on Tuesday 32-year-old Espinoza's contract has been "cancelled by mutual consent".
