irmingham defender Scott Dann insists that Blues do not have to worry about being dragged into a relegation battle this season.[LNB] Blues have slipped to 17th in the league after their 2-1 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend.[LNB]But despite their in-different start to the new season which has seen them win only once, Dann remains upbeat that Birmingham will soon start climbing the table [LNB] "It's never nice to be that far down the table," he told the Birmingham Mail. [LNB]"We know what we're capable of and I'm sure the next few games - starting this week - we will begin to move up the table and pick up points.[LNB]"I think we have been a bit unfortunate at times but we've not played as well as we would have liked either. So it's just about getting that right. We have all got to stick together.[LNB]"We're better than where we are. I see the players every day in training and what they're capable of, and last year too and the strength the lads have got.[LNB]"Although none of us want to be down where we are in the bottom half of the table, I'm sure we will show in the next few weeks what we are capable of and start moving up."[LNB]Dann still feels aggrieved over Arsenal's equaliser as he felt Marouane Chamakh dived when he made the challenge on him.[LNB] "I didn't touch him. Definitely not. It's a bit of a tough decision for the ref, but he's conned him and he's already on his way down before he's even come near my foot," he said.[LNB] "I went up to him and said 'ref, I didn't touch him, you watch it on the replay'. He didn't really take any notice of me. I just walked away.[LNB]"There was nothing I could change about it then. I said to him after the game 'do you really think it was a penalty?' and he didn't say anything.[LNB]"He made the decision and it was definitely not the right one - but what can you do?[LNB]"Chamakh knows himself what he's done. I don't think it's a good thing. After it, a lot of the lads weren't happy with him and had a couple of words. But the decision had already been made and it changed the game."
