Calderwood: Chairman will decide

Hibernian manager Colin Calderwood insists any decision over his future lies solely in the hands of club chairman Rod Petrie.[LNB] Calderwood has been linked with Championship sides Nottingham Forest and Birmingham, who are keen to have the Scot on their coaching staff for the new season.[LNB]Although the 46-year-old would be open to discussions with either club, he is aware he is still under contract with Hibs and they will have the final say.[LNB]"The situation is, as far as I am aware, there have been a couple of approaches but they haven't been to the satisfaction of the chairman," said Calderwood, whose Hibs side lost 2-1 to Livingston in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday night.[LNB]"I think there is a level at which it might be different. But at the minute, it's not."[LNB]He added on Sky Sports News: "There's a contract there that you definitely want to honour, unless something changes and everyone comes to an agreement.[LNB]"There's got to come a point. At that point, I must admit, there would be some interest. But it all depends on a couple of yeses from the chairman."[LNB]On Tuesday, Petrie said Forest manager Steve McClaren was in "dangerous territory" after making his interest in Calderwood public.
