Butland Plays As England Romp To Victory
Jack Butland was in action for England U17's in their second UEFA European U17 Championship Elite Qualifying Round game against Malta on Monday night. Butland played the full ninety minutes as John Peacock's side recorded a 5-0 win against their Maltese counterparts at Barnet Albion's Pirelli Stadium. The young lions, who went into this game on the back of of a 4-0 win against Sweden on Saturday, now need just one point from their final game against Slovakia at Northampton Town's Sixfields Stadium on Thursday to qualify for the UEFA European U17 Championship finals which will be held in Liechtenstein in May.
