Butland Helps England To Tournament Victory

Jack Butland played his part in helping the England U17's side win the Algarve Tournament. The young Blues keeper, who kept a clean sheet in the Under 17's 3-0 win against Ukraine on Sunday, played the last 50 minutes of their 0-0 draw against host nation Portugal on Tuesday afternoon. John Peacock's side therefore topped the three team group having previously drawn 1-1 with France on Saturday. England U17's: Sam Johnstone (Jack Butland, 40), Luke Garbutt, Conor Coady, George Thorne (David Atkinson, 60), Will Keane (Conor Thomas, 70), Benik Afobe (John Cofie, 70), Chuks Aneke (Saido Berahino, 51), Rob Hall (Harry Kane, 51), Jack Robinson, Bruno Pilatos, Andre Wisdom. Sub not used: Nathaniel Chalobah.
