The 6''1" Norwegian international striker has joined Blues on loan for the remainder of the season and should the club finish in a play-off place in the Championship he will be eligible to play in those games too.
The 27-year-old joined Pompey from Italian side Bari at the beginning of the season and scored six goals in 28 appearances.
Huseklepp could make his Blues debut in the home game against Nottingham Forest.
