Blues loan Pompey defender Traore
The Mali international defender, 28, has seen his chances limited at Fratton Park since moving to the club in January 2007.[LNB]Traore, who can play in the centre or on the left side of defence, made more than 160 appearances for Liverpool having initially arrived in England in 1999 and was a member of the Reds side that won the Champions League in dramatic fashion against AC Milan back in 2005.[LNB]After a move to Charlton and then Portsmouth, Traore enjoyed a loan spell with French club Rennes at the start of 2008.[LNB]He will now join Blues for the full 93-day period allowed under the rules of an emergency deal.[LNB][LNB]
