But sources close to City insist reports that a £4 million transfer has already been struck with Lens are premature and that any possible deal is a long way from being finalised.[LNB]McLeish has made no secret of his desire to bring in a new forward before the transfer window closes and has been linked with a host of players.[LNB]Ivory Coast international Dindane joined Portsmouth in August on a one-year deal and has scored four goals in 10 appearances for the Premier League strugglers.[LNB]He began his career with Ivory Coast club ASEC Mimosas before moving to RSC Anderlecht in 2000 and then joined Lens in June 2005.[LNB]Dindane won the first of his 51 international caps a decade ago and participated in the 2006 FIFA World Cup, scoring twice against Serbia and Montenegro.[LNB]He also represented his country at the 2006 and 2008 African Nations Cup tournaments.[LNB]McLeish has so far signed Sporting Gijon playmaker Michel and Aston Villa midfielder Craig Gardner during the January window.[LNB][LNB]
