Gary Rowett set to ring the changes for Birmingham's EFL Cup tie with Oxford

Jack Storer and Josh Cogley could be handed their full Birmingham debuts against Oxford in the EFL Cup.

Forward Storer was a late substitute in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Cardiff and boss Gary Rowett is considering handing more game time to him and defender Cogley.

Robert Tesche and Maikel Kieftenbeld are likely to feature after Tesche was a late substitute on Saturday and Kieftenbeld missed out entirely.

Reece Brown is struggling with a tight groin after playing against the Bluebirds while striker James Vaughan took a knock in training on Monday and will be assessed.

Oxford will assess the fitness of Cheyenne Dunkley after he limped off during their 1-1 draw against Chesterfield.

The defender looked to have suffered a hamstring injury before being subbed off in the first half.

Aaron Martin (foot) may be fit to return but Christian Ribeiro (ankle) remains out of the side through injury, so Sam Long should retain his place after deputising for the latter at right-back on Saturday.

Rob Hall is a long-term absentee with a knee injury.
