Adeyemi worry for Blues
Tom Adeyemi is a slight doubt for Birmingham's home clash against Middlesbrough but Kyle Bartley returns to the frame.
Midfielder Adeyemi, who has started 16 of Blues' 18 Championship matches this term, picked up a hamstring complaint in Tuesday's frustrating 1-1 draw against Doncaster.
Centre-back Bartley, meanwhile, is fit again following a hamstring injury of his own and boss Lee Clark must decide whether to include him in his starting XI.
The likes of Chris Burke, Wade Elliott, Andy Shinnie, Shane Ferguson and Dariusz Dudka are also pushing for recalls.
Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka will welcome Grant Leadbitter back from suspension for Saturday's Sky Bet Championship trip to Birmingham.
The midfielder missed Wednesday night's defeat at Derby after reaching five bookings for the campaign last weekend, but will be available once again at St Andrews.
However, striker Curtis Main will sit out after being sent off for two bookable offences at Pride Park, and he will join keeper Jason Steele on the sidelines as he completes his three-match ban.
Frontman Lukas Jutkiewicz was also missing for the Derby game after suffering a knock in training, but he is expected to be available. But defenders Jonathan Woodgate (back) and Stuart Parnaby (knee) are being assessed and full-back George Friend (knee) could be sidelined for two weeks.
