Blues wait on duo

Birmingham hope to welcome back Callum Reilly and Hayden Mullins for the visit of Brighton.

Reilly missed Tuesday's FA Cup exit at the hands of Leeds due to a virus which threatened his involvement at Huddersfield last weekend and eventually forced him off at half-time.

Fellow midfielder Mullins, meanwhile, has sat out of the club's last four matches with a calf problem.

0n-loan winger Robert Hall is definitely back in the fold having been denied permission to play in the FA Cup by parent club West Ham.

But Jonathan Spector continues to be ruled out with his hamstring injury, and the American is again joined on the sidelines by Akwasi Asante, Darren Ambrose, David Murphy, Stephen Carr and Will Packwood.

Brighton hope to add Leonardo Ulloa to their squad for the trip.

Boss Gus Poyet has snapped up the Argentine striker from Spanish La Liga side Almeria for an undisclosed fee, but the Seagulls are awaiting international clearance.

Fellow forward Craig Mackail-Smith should be fit after missing last Saturday's 2-1 win over Derby as a precaution due to a tight hamstring.

But defender Bruno looks set to miss out for the fourth match running due to an Achilles problem, with fellow Spaniard Inigo Calderon set to deputise once again after he overcame a knee injury to face the Rams.M
