Blues duo suspended

Birmingham manager Lee Clark will be without suspended duo Wade Elliott and Kyle Bartley for the visit of Blackpool but new loan signing Aaron McLean should go straight into the squad.

Elliott will complete a three-match ban for his straight red card in the Capital One Cup tie against Stoke last month, while Bartley serves a one-game suspension for his dismissal at Huddersfield last time out. Striker McLean joins from Hull and will stay with Blues until January.

Chris Burke will play after overcoming the injury which forced him off at the John Smith's Stadium. Callum Reilly played 90 minutes for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s in Montenegro in midweek and will be assessed ahead of kick-off.

Poland international Dariusz Dudka is fit and could feature for the first time since signing a short-term deal at the end of October.

Blackpool goalkeeper Matt Gilks is expected to be available for the trip.

A shoulder injury forced the Scotland shot-stopper to return early from international duty but Gilks has since declared himself ready for the clash.

On-loan Liverpool full-back Jack Robinson serves the third game of a four-match ban for seeing red in the closing stages of the 2-2 draw with Blackburn.

Veteran midfielder Barry Ferguson remains sidelined with an ankle injury but Isaiah Osbourne, Chris Basham and Nathan Delfouneso could return from their respective injuries.
