Birmingham to be snubbed by Palermo striker Fabrizio Miccoli

Fabrizio Miccoli is set to snub Birmingham City to remain with Palermo, according to the owner of the Serie A club.[LNB]Palermo announced Miccoli would appear at a press conference on Thursday to reveal his future plans, but Maurizio Zamparini has not waited to claim Miccoli is staying.[LNB]'Fabrizio will remain with us,' he said, adding that the press conference will 'erase any doubt over the permanence of our captain'.[LNB]Boost: Birmingham are keen to team Fabrizio Miccoli with other new signing Nikoli Zigic[LNB]He continued: 'Yesterday I met Miccoli, and I reiterated the esteemand confidence the club holds him in.
