Birmingham join chase Stephen Hunt after Wigan rebuff approach for Charles N'Zogbia

Birmingham have joined the chase for Hull City winger Stephen Hunt.

Manager Alex McLeish has been rebuffed in his offers for Charles N'Zogbia so far and is interested in 28-year-old Hunt as a cheaper option at £3m.

Birmingham goalkeeper Maik Taylor, 38, has signed a new one year contract and the club have also offered a new deal to midfielder Keith Fahey, 27.
