Benitez Injury Not Too Serious
The Injury sustained by Christian Benitez in the home win against Wolves appears to be not too serious. The Blues striker was stretchered off the pitch 63 minutes into the local derby at St Andrews with an ankle injury. However, Blues boss Alex McLeish explained after the match that according to the club doctor the injury does not appear too serious. "He went over on his ankle," McLeish said after Blues' 2-1 win on Sunday lunchtime. "We'll need to wait 24 hours, as is the normal procedure, to get it scanned but we're hopeful he won't be missing for too long." McLeish's View: Wolves (h)
