Beale given reserve role
irmingham have appointed Richard Beale as their new reserve-team coach in succession to Malky Thomson.[LNB] Thomson linked up with David O'Leary at Al Ahli earlier in the season.[LNB]Beale has been combining the role as the club's education and welfare officer with coaching at City's academy for the past four years.[LNB]A UEFA licence holder and former Port Vale apprentice, he played non-league football for Telford, Stafford and Redditch.[LNB]
