22-Man Squad Far-East Bound
A 22-man Blues squad fly out to the far-east for their pre-season tour of Hong Kong & China. One noticeable absentee from the squad that fly out to the far-east today (Wednesday) is James McFadden who has remained in the UK as his wife is expecting a baby. Full 22-man Blues squad: Ben Foster, Maik Taylor, Barry Ferguson, Roger Johnson, Liam Ridgewell, Scott Dann, Enric Valles, Michel, Seb Larsson, Stuart Parnaby, David Murphy, Keith Fahey, Kevin Phillips, Colin Doyle, Jordon Mutch, Garry O'Connor, Cameron Jerome, Stephen Carr, Lee Bowyer, Craig Gardner, Nikola Zigic, Fraser Kerr. Blues will play three friendly games during the tour which are as follows: Sunday, 18th July: Hong Kong League Select XI (Hong Kong) Wednesday, 21st July: Beijing Guoan FC (Beijing).
