Dumbarton piled pressure Cowdenbeath with a win over 10-man Berwick. Ross Forbes got the home side off to a flying start when he fired home a stunning free-kick from 20 yards. John Dillon's rash challenge on Derek Carcary saw the Berwick man red carded by referee Brian Colvin and Carcary was stretchered off with a knee injury.
