Play-off boost for Stranraer Stranraer boosted their play-off hopes with a 3-1 win over Berwick at Stair Park. In the ninth minute, Declan Gallacher hit the crossbar from a Stranraer corner. Stuart McColm then saw his 18-yard shot acrobatically saved by Berwick goalkeeper Ian McCaldon. Then in the 40th minute they got their reward when Grant Gallagher found McColm on the left and he found the top of the net from 18 yards. Stranraer doubled their lead after 51 minutes when Declan Gallacher found space to smash home from six yards. Then, against the run of play, Berwick`s Paul Currie scored with a cross-shot from 30 yards. Stranraer came back, though, when in the 66th minute McColm struck again with a cracking left-footed finish into the bottom-right corner.
