Banned McSorley out for Albion

Bottom of the table Stirling Albion are without the suspended Daly McSorley for the visit of Berwick.

Jamie McCunnie is expected to miss out as he struggles with illness, while Danny Ashe (ankle) and Jamie Clark (hamstring) are sidelined.

Boss Greig McDonald is looking to settle a score with the Borderers, after suffering a heavy defeat in the reverse fixture.

"The last time we played Berwick we put in our worst performance of the season and lost 4-1," he said.

"We never turned up and I still cringe and how poor we were that day. It would be great to put that right with a win.

"We lost 2-0 to Rangers last weekend but we took confidence from the display. If we can play to that level again we can win this game."

Berwick make the trip without the injured Dene Droudge and Marc Lancaster.

But boss Ian Little has no other selection worries as his side look to record back-to-back victories.

And assistant manager Robbie Horn wants to see Rangers put pressure on the clubs in the top four.

He said: "There is a chance that we go move into a play-off place for the first time this season if we win and other results go our way.

"That would be a tremendous confidence booster for everyone but it will not be easy.

"Stirling have improved throughout the season and have some very experienced players so it will come good for them and we need to ensure that it is not at our expense."
