Queens up to seventh
Queens Park moved up to seventh in Division Three after a tight 1-0 victory against play-off chasing Berwick.
Defender Martin McBride scored the goal that sees the home side move above Montrose.
McBride finished inside the area on 72 minutes with a right-footed shot that was set up by David Anderson after good work down the left.
David Murray could and probably should have sealed the points late on when his effort inside the area flew wide.
As for the visitors, they offered little in the way of attack, with home keeper Adam Strain being largely untested ever since Andrew McLean's effort was parried in the first half.
The home side held on and are now eleven points clear of bottom club Clyde.
