Walker back for Berwick

Berwick Rangers manager John Coughlin can call on free-from-suspension goalkeeper Kevin Walker for the visit of Queen's Park as the Borderers look to stay ahead of bottom side East Stirling.

The Shielfield boss is planning changes following Saturday's 2-1 defeat away to Clyde as he explained: "We were poor for the first hour of the game but improved a lot in the final 30 minutes.

"The players that came off the bench all contributed to that improvement and are in my thoughts for a starting role.

"If we play for the full 90 minutes in the same manner that we ended at Clyde then we have a good chance."

Queen's Park are again missing skipper Tony Quinn, who had hip surgery recently, as well as James Baty (groin) and Kenny Mackay (thigh).

Head coach Gus MacPherson is looking for the same endeavour from his players that he got during Saturday's 1-0 win at Arbroath.

He said: "Everyone at the club was disappointed with the 3-0 home defeat from East Stirling and a reaction was expected at Gayfield.

"We got that with a really hard working display where we started bouncing back by securing a 1-0 win.

"We got ahead early on and we managed to see things out with a strong and resolute performance."
