Colin Cameron looking for Berwick response against Queen's Park

Berwick welcome back Ross Drummond and Steven Notman after long-term injuries when they host Queen's Park.

However player/ manager Colin Cameron is a major doubt with David Banjo already ruled out with a hamstring injury suffered in the draw last weekend.

Cameron said: "It was disappointing to only draw with Arbroath last weekend after being two goals up. I am sure that it was a one-off and was probably caused by the exertions against Kilmarnock just a few days before. I am sure that the players will be more ruthless in the future.

"Queen's Park are a good side however we have a good record against them here and are looking to keep that going."

Queen's Park captain Tony Quinn is missing through a hip injury and Gavin Mitchell is ruled out through an ankle problem, leaving the Spiders short on numbers in midfield.

Head coach Gus MacPherson could have further absentees, with Bryan Wharton and Chris Duggan facing fitness tests.

MacPherson said: "I watched Berwick play against Kilmarnock in the Scottish League Cup recently and I was impressed. They were also impressive against Arbroath for most of the game and they will be sore at dropping a couple of points.

"This will be a difficult game at a venue we have struggled at before so we need to be at the top of our performance levels to get the three points."
