Two out for Berwick

Berwick will be without Scott Maxwell and Andy Russell due to knee injuries when they host Montrose.

Winger Ross Gray is set to keep his place after impressing in his first start of the season as Formartine were beaten 2-0 in the William Hill Scottish Cup.

Player-manager Colin Cameron said: "Ross is working his way back into things after a knee problem, however his performance in the cup was very encouraging.

"We haven't won enough games in the league so we have to be targeting three points from this one, especially since we are at home."

Montrose welcome back Leighton McIntosh from a two-game ban and Stephen Day from work commitments to give manager George Shields a full squad to choose from.

The Gable Endies are looking to bounce back from exiting the Scottish Cup at the hands of neighbours Arbroath after extra time.

Shields said: "I may need to freshen things up as the players put a lot in to Saturday's game and were unlucky to go out and having Leighton and Stephen back gives me options to do that.

"A win would send us second in the table and that is more than enough incentive to win this game."
