Dargo set for Rangers return
Berwick entertain Elgin and could have Craig Dargo available.
Dargo missed Wednesday night's 2-2 draw with Montrose due to a hamstring injury but is poised to return.
Scott Dalziel is a doubt with a knee injurywhile Andy Russell continues to be out with a similar ailment and player-manager Colin Cameron is looking for his men to get ahead and stay ahead.
Cameron said: "We were two goals up and in control against Montrose and then lost bad goals at bad times.
"We should have more points on board but until we start seeing games out confidently we are liable to keep shooting ourselves in the foot.
"Hopefully we can score and keep out Elgin."
Elgin welcome back defender Matt Cooper from injury, however Ali Mackenzie remains out with a knee problem and Dennis Wyness will not make the long trip south due to family commitments.
Manager Barry Wilson said: "Berwick will be smarting after losing a late goal in midweek and will be out to make amends.
"We have to make sure that we stay strong in the opening exchanges as they come out and look to get on top.
"Both Berwick and ourselves play good football so it should be a good game for the fans and we also have the incentive of climbing above Berwick and off the bottom if we win."
