Easton struggling for Berwick game

Berwick forward Dylan Easton is struggling to face Elgin due to an ankle knock he sustained in Saturday's 3-1 defeat by Rangers.

The Borderers welcome back Steve Notman from suspension, but Kevin McDonald remains sidelined for a further game with a ban and Dene Droudge (knee) and Marc Lancaster (back) are long-term absentees.

Manager Ian Little is looking for his side to build on recent positive performances that have not brought the right rewards.

He explained: "We have been playing well without getting the points that we deserve.

"If we play as well as we have been doing I'm sure we will finally get a break and get the win over Elgin that will help us push towards the play-offs."

Elgin suffered a blow ahead of the trip when it was confirmed new signing Ross McKinnon suffered ankle ligament damage in the warm-up at East Stirling and will be sidelined for a few weeks.

Knee injuries keep Jamie Duff and David Niven out along with Dennis Wyness who has a hamstring problem.

Darren Moore and Cieran McLean miss out due to work commitments, with Lewis Halford also staying put due to the impending birth of his first child.

Sean Crighton is available after a ban, Graeme Beveridge is free of work commitments and trialist Cameron MacDonald will play.

Manager Ross Jack said: "It's not ideal but we will battle for the win that will get our promotion push going again."
