Berwick player-manager Colin Cameron doubtful for East Stirling visit

Berwick player-manager Colin Cameron is doubtful for his side's home clash against East Stirling.

Cameron is over a calf injury but has been struggling with illness during the week.

There are other midfield absentees too, Graeme Beveridge out with a rib injury and David Banjo dealing with a hamstring problem.

Cameron, who is looking to build on a 1-1 draw at Clyde last time out, said: "We lost a disappointing goal from a defensive point of view but the players took it on the chin and went about getting level in a very committed fashion. If we can get the same approach again against the Shire we can pick up three points."

East Stirling will be without Connor Greene following his dismissal against Arbroath last weekend, while Billy Vidler injured his knee in the same game.

Also missing from manager Craig Tully's squad are Chris Townsley (ankle), Ross Gilmour and Michael Wallace (both foot).

Tully said: "In too many games recently we have fallen behind to an early goal and given ourselves a mountain to climb. If we can defend well and keep ourselves into the game then we have the chance of establishing a platform to go on and win the three points."
