31 August 2012 16:25
Noble to miss out again Striker Stuart Noble remains sidelined with a hamstring problem as Berwick entertain East Stirling at Shielfield. Fraser McLaren, who came off the bench to net the equaliser in last Sunday's 1-1 draw against Rangers, is in line for a start after his fine performance. Manager Ian Little is now looking for things to settle down again after the high-profile encounter. "It was nice that we have received a lot of plaudits for the way we went about things last Sunday but we are not getting carried away," he said. "We have still to win a game in the league this season so we will look to put that right against an East Stirling side who are always tricky opponents." East Stirling's Grant Hay is set to take over in goal after on-loan stopper Ryan McWilliams was recalled by Albion. The Shire will also be forced into making other changes with Steven Jackson (illness), Paul Quinn (thigh) and Jamie Benton (knee) missing. Scott Maxwell and Michael Herd both return to boost head coach John Coughlin. Coughlin said: "Berwick put on a great performance and got a great result against Rangers last weekend but we are going there looking for a win. "After three league defeats in a row it is time for a win. We won there last season and it would be great to do so again."
