Double blow for Borderers

Berwick will be without Colin Cameron and Kerr Young against Clyde.

Player/manager Cameron has been ill this week while Young is unavailable because of suspension. They join Steve Notman, who continues to nurse a knee problem, on the sidelines.

Ross Gray will need to pass a fitness test before Cameron will consider him for selection but Stephen Tulloch and Darren Lavery are available after injury for the Borderers.

Cameron said: "We are presently sitting second bottom in the table but we are only five points off a play-off place. Winning this game could help us get a lot closer and set things up for a very exciting run in to the season."

Clyde can also move closer to extending their season with a win but boss Barry Ferguson has Jamie Barclay and Paul Slane ruled out through illness.

Injuries see Scott McLaughlin (broken arm), Scott Ferguson (knee) and Keighan Parker (calf) miss out and Ferguson is not looking further than the Shielfield clash.

He said: "I am only looking to win game number three in a row as opposed to concerning myself with the play-offs at this time.

"We are down to the bare bones player-wise but the players have responded well and another win would be terrific."
