Cameron fit and ready for Rangers

Berwick player-manager Colin Cameron has declared himself fit enough to start against visitors Clyde.

Top goalscorer Darren Lavery is also expected to return after illness.

Defender Stephen Tulloch remains out after a fractured cheekbone, with Cameron still nursing a sense of frustration after his side's midweek defeat at Montrose.

Cameron said: "Getting ahead in games, missing further chances and losing goals just before a half ends has been the story of our season.

"I thought we had moved away from it but the problem came back again at Montrose so it was a very disappointing evening.

"Hopefully we can get in front and then see off Clyde."

Clyde winger Andy Gibson opted to retire this week due to injury and dropped out of manager player-manager Barry Ferguson's thoughts for the trip over the border.

On-loan Rangers defender Craig Halkett a doubt, with Ferguson, who is still missing with an ankle injury, saying: "We recovered from a bad start against Queen's Park last weekend to put them under a lot of pressure.

"Unfortunately we never created our chances and lost the game.

"It is fine lines in this division and hopefully we will be on the right side of them down at Berwick. The players are working hard and deserve a break in a game."
