Cameron can't pick himself

Berwick player-manager Colin Cameron looks likely to miss out against visitors Annan due to a thigh problem.

Stephen Tulloch is set for a place among Cameron's substitutes following a calf injury.

The good run that the Borderers had in the Scottish Cup ended at Hibs last Sunday and Cameron now needs to address his side's position in the league.

Cameron said: "The cup run was great, however we have to start winning and moving up the table. We are certainly not out of things in terms of the promotion play-offs but, first things first, we need to be putting points on the board."

Annan are low on numbers as Peter Watson is suspended and injuries rule out Matty Flynn (knee), Kenny Mackay (knee) and Kieran Brannan (ankle).

They could be joined on the sidelines by Steven Swinglehurst and Iain Chisholm, who are both facing fitness tests.

Manager Jim Chapman said: "We have hit a disappointing period for results and lost our place in the play-off pack as a result. The only way to end that is to start winning again and that will be our aim at Berwick.

"They are a good footballing side but like us have suffered from being inconsistent and losing goals and games that they should not be."
