Lavery back for Berwick

Berwick have Darren Lavery back in their squad for the visit of Albion Rovers after work commitments kept him out of the long trip north to Elgin in midweek.

Club captain Stephen Tulloch and recent signing Blair Henderson could also return after injuries but Steven Notman continues to be absent with a knee problem.

Player-manager Colin Cameron said: "In our last two games we have been the better side and lost as we haven't shown a strong enough mental toughness.

"We have spoken at length with the players about it. Hopefully we can get ahead and stay ahead against Albion Rovers."

The title-chasing Cliftonhill side, who have lost four consecutive games, have striker John Gemmell available after suspension and have added attacker Eddie Ferns on loan from Alloa.

Player-manager Darren Young, who has no injury or suspension concerns, said: "It is a case of looking forward and not back.

"Of course we are disappointed by the recent run, however all our focus has been on putting it right by securing the three points at Berwick.

"We have made uncharacteristic mistakes at both ends of the pitch and if we stop doing that then we will be well-placed to take something home from a more than decent host side."
