Berwick ready for 'must-win' game

Berwick host Albion Rovers in what is a crucial game for both sides in their search for a play-off place.

Borderers player-manager Colin Cameron could be tempted to start with Scott Dalziel up front after his impressive substitute appearance against Clyde last week, while Michael Dunlop is available after a shoulder injury.

Dougie Brydon (hip) and Steve Notman (knee) both remain out. Cameron said: "Both sides have to win this game, as a draw or a defeat does not really do either of us any good if the teams above us win.

"Our home form has been good and it would be good to keep that going."

Albion Rovers are without Chris Dallas (knee) as they look to take points from Berwick for the first time this season.

The Coatbridge side have doubts over Alan Reid, Mark McGuigan and Liam Cusack.

Manager James Ward said: "Berwick have won three times against us so we know how hard this game will be. We know that we need a result to keep our play-off hopes alive so we will be going all out to get one.

"We lost to Annan in midweek but we played well in the first half. If we can do that for the 90 minutes we will do okay."
