Rangers sink Clyde

Berwick kept their play-off hopes alive as they stormed to a 3-0 victory over third-placed Clyde.

Darren Lavery opened the scoring for Rangers with his 16th goal of the season as he fired Lee Currie's pass past Jamie Barclay in the Clyde goal.

Lee Currie doubled his side's lead when he tucked the ball away inside the box and six minutes later, in the 82nd minute, Currie made it three as his free-kick sailed into the bottom corner for his 15th of the campaign.

The Bully Wee came close to a late consolation goal but Stuart McColm's shot was parried by William Bald.

Berwick now lie two points off a play-off spot while Clyde stay third after losing for the first time in four games.
