Basement boys East Stirling twice hit back to deny Berwick

East Stirling twice hit back from a goal down to draw 2-2 at Berwick, but they remain at the bottom of Ladbrokes League Two.

Jordan McGregor and then Darren Lavery put Berwick one goal to the good, but their opponents responded on both occasions, through Neil McCabe and Thomas Orr respectively, to remain two points behind their relegation rivals.

It took just three minutes for the home side to open the scoring as McGregor headed home from Finn Graham, although they were pegged back on the quarter of an hour mark following McCabe's strike from distance.

John Coughlin's men retook the lead in the 69th minute when Lavery fired in after taking advantage of East Stirling goalkeeper Richard Barnard's poor clearance.

But the Shire immediately drew level once more when substitute Orr slotted home from close range from Aron Lynas' assist.
