Lavery lifts Berwick
Berwick ground out a valuable 2-0 win over nine-man East Stirling at Shielfield Park.
Darren Lavery opened the scoring with a neat finish inside the box after 10 minutes to make it 11 goals in total for the forward this season.
Lavery nearly doubled his tally in the second half but he was denied by East Stirling keeper Grant Hay.
Michael Bolochoweckyj was dismissed for the Shire after a dangerous challenge and David Greenhill soon followed after receiving his second yellow card.
Lee Currie sealed the three points for the Black and Golds in the final minute when he got on the end of a pass from Lavery.
