McAllister at the double
Peterhead moved two points clear at the top of the Scottish League Two table with a comfortable 3-1 win in Berwick.
Two goals from leading scorer Rory McAllister set the visitors on their way and Dean Cowie wrapped up all three points late on to extend the Blue Toon's unbeaten run to eight games.
With 14 goals to his name before the start of play, McAllister nodded Jim McInally's team into an early lead from Steven Noble's cross before Berwick's Steven Notman levelled with his head before the break, converting Scott Dalziel's flick-on.
Peterhead turned the screw after the interval, though, and McAllister added his second of the game with a superb direct free-kick before Cowie sealed the win in the 76th minute with a neat 12-yard finish which nestled in the bottom corner of William Bald's goal.
